Item properties include the objects owner, when the object was added and by whom, and when the object was last updated and by whom. Assigning an object an owner, does not give that user any additional privileges or permissions to the object. It does provide a mechanism to associate objects with GAL users. Prior to GAL Release 7.9, the object owner was responsible for any review assignments.
